First class care homes in Norfolk

East Anglia Care Homes was established in 1989. Over the years we have evolved but our mission has remained the same: to be a provider of high quality care and excellent nursing in East Anglia.

We take pride in offering a first class service to our residents and in bringing families the peace of mind that this nursing and support is being provided around the clock.

We have two care homes both with their own individual style and characteristics but sharing the same values and commitment to delivering a high standard of service. Halvergate House in North Walsham is an impressive Victorian house set within beautiful, mature gardens and only a short distance from the picturesque North Norfolk Coast. Our second care home, Sutherlands, named after opera singer, Joan Sutherland, was purpose built and is located in the market town of Wymondham which is in close proximity to Norwich.

We offer a personal service and we work hard to develop strong relationships with the individuals and families that join our homes. We are committed to offering the greatest comfort possible to everyone who steps through our doors and reassuring individuals that choosing to have support from a care home can sometimes be the right choice.

The preservation of dignity is of paramount importance to East Anglia Care Homes. We are here to ensure that dignity is maintained and the strongest relationships sustained within families, even at the most vulnerable and challenging stages of life.

Making choices that are right for you

Deciding that it is time to move into a care home marks a huge turning point in an individual’s life. It could be that health and strength just isn’t what it used to be; coping safely on one’s own isn’t so straightforward any more. Even if there is support at home from family and friends, quality of life for all concerned may be enhanced by the professional help and expertise offered by the right care home. This could be for long term care or for a shorter period of convalescence.

However, finding the care home most suited to the needs of the individual – where it just feels right – can sometimes be quite a challenge.

With our experience and knowledge we can help by assessing your needs, guiding you through your options and explaining in detail the levels of care available. We hope that our website will give you a starting point.
